If you want to use a pot outdoors, please inform your contact person when placing the order. The pot will then be equipped with drainage holes during production.
Upon receiving the pot, it is important not to place the possibly included inner container inside the pot. The inner container is provided in case you ever want to use the pot indoors.
When your pots are in the sun, we recommend turning the pot a quarter turn once a month. This helps to reduce color differences caused by UV radiation.
When there is an inner container in the pot, leave it out. The removable inner container is only to be used when the pot is used indoors.
Step 1: Place a layer of root cloth at the bottom of the pot. This has the advantages of preventing hydro grains or soil from being washed out through the drainage holes, reducing weed and root growth, and protecting against insects.
Step 2: Fill 1/5 of the pot with hydro grains for outdoor use.
Step 3: Fill the remaining 4/5 of the pot with potting soil for outdoor use.
Important: Ensure sufficient weight in the pot so that it does not blow over in the wind. This can be done, for example, by placing stones or rocks at the bottom before adding hydro grains.
You can easily clean your pots and pillars with water and green soap. Use an (old) toothbrush, a nail brush, or a dish brush for this.
Make sure to place your pots and pillars on a flat surface. Ensure that they are in a safe, stable, and responsible location, so they do not tip over or fall from great heights.
